A Long Term number on NonVoip is a Non-VoIP number rented for a 30-day access period. While the rental is active, you keep access to the same number and can receive inbound SMS during that period.

What Is a Long Term Number?

Long Term is a rental-style product: you rent one Non-VoIP number for 30 days and keep that same line for inbound SMS while the rental stays active. Catalog offers are typically organized around a service. It is not a few-minute Short Term session.

How Does a Long Term Number Work?

1. Choose a Long Term offer from the SMS verification catalog.
2. Place the order and note the 30-day access shown at checkout.
3. Enter the assigned number where the destination sends verification SMS.
4. Read inbound messages in your NonVoip order while the rental is active.
5. Keep using the same number for additional inbound SMS until the rental ends or you renew (subject to destination rules).

What Does the Rental Period Mean?

The Long Term rental period is 30 days. That is how long NonVoip keeps the number available for inbound SMS on the order. The dashboard shows the end of that window for the product you bought.

Can You Renew a Long Term Number?

Yes. Long Term numbers are designed for ongoing access. When renewal is available, you can extend the rental and keep the same number.

Renew anytime means you can extend from the order while the number remains renewable—you do not have to wait until the last day. Auto Renew can keep the rental active when the option is enabled and the number is still eligible. If Auto Renew is off, renew manually before the 30-day window ends if you want to keep the line.

Can a Long Term Number Receive Multiple SMS Messages?

Yes. During the 30-day rental, the same Long Term number can receive more than one inbound SMS—including extra OTPs, resends, and later verification messages—while NonVoip access is still active.

Each destination still sets its own rules. Too many resends, daily caps, or risk checks can delay or block a new code even though the rental is valid. If nothing arrives, use SMS verification code not received instead of repeating the send endlessly.

What Is a Long Term Number Used For?

What Happens When a Long Term Rental Ends?

When the 30-day period ends and the order is not renewed, access to that assignment stops. New inbound SMS for that order are no longer collected on that number.
